Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your account with The Supervision App and what happens to your data when you do. It applies to both the companion mobile app and the web app.

Delete your account in the app

Mobile app (supervisees)

• Open The Supervision App and go to the Me tab.
• Tap Account.
• Tap Delete account… and confirm.

Web app (supervisors)

• Sign in at pro.thesupervisionapp.com.
• Go to Settings → Account.
• Select Delete account… and confirm.

Request deletion by email

If you can no longer sign in, email us from the address on your account at carl@thesupervisionapp.com with the subject "Delete my account." We will verify your identity and complete the deletion within 30 days.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes:

• Your profile — name, email, and the professional credential and license details you entered
• Supervision records created under your account — sessions, hour-ledger entries, supervision plans, reflections, and your signatures
• Verification and supervision forms generated from your account
• Your analytics and crash-report identifiers

What may be retained

Supervision is a two-party record, and some documents exist so a supervisee can prove their hours to the Board of Social Work. Because of that, a limited amount of information may be retained after you delete your account:

• Shared, signed records. When a session or form has been signed by both a supervisor and a supervisee, deleting one account does not erase the other party's copy of that completed, immutable record — they may still need it for licensure verification.
• Records we must keep by law. Limited billing and transaction records are retained only for as long as we are legally required to keep them, then deleted.

Retained records are kept only for these purposes and are not used to re-create your account. For more detail on how we handle data, see our Privacy Policy.
